At AMD, we
view corporate responsibility as a guiding
principle that defines our culture and drives our
behavior in everything we do. We have more than
16,000 employees with operations around the world,
including 4 manufacturing locations, 5 research
and design facilities, and dozens of regional
sales offices. AMD employees are considered the
company’s core asset, and we attribute business
success to a value and respect for people, which
begins with our employees and extends to our
customers, partners, the environment, and our
communities.
AMD is a global company with
strong roots in the local communities where we
operate. To help strengthen these communities, AMD
provides technology donations, financial resources
and volunteers to support charitable efforts. The
majority of AMD’s grants are distributed through
existing programs that we have supported for many
years. We also proactively seek out new
opportunities by working closely with local
philanthropic organizations to identify and
develop strategic partnerships. Therefore, AMD is
not accepting new grant applications at this time.

home. Caring for the community is a strong
corporate value at all our sites worldwide,
because we believe the health of our company is
directly related to the health of our communities.
There is no such thing as a separate 'community
issue.' As family members, we all own the issues
