The PathScale™ EKO Compiler Suite, comprised of C, C++ and Fortran 77/90/95 compilers has been specifically optimized for the AMD64 architecture. This compiler suite has proven to be the highest performance compiler suite for 64bit Linux-based applications. It offers the highest proven performance on SPEC, PolyHedron, EuroBen, Stream and most other real application code benchmarks. It has been heavily optimized for maximum 64-bit performance on the AMD Opteron™ and Athlon™ 64.
The PathScale compilers use the gcc front-ends for compatibility with existing gcc-compiled applications. This makes upgrading to the PathScale compilers very easy for developers using the Gnu tools.
The PathScale EKO Compiler Suite supports all of the leading debugging tools including serial debuggers such as gdb and Fx2 from Absoft as well as parallel debuggers such as Etnus TotalView and Streamline DDT.
The PathScale Compiler Suite, available as an annual subscription service, has been shipping in production since April 14 2004. A 30-day trial evaluation version is available from PathScale’s web site or from any of its PathScale Authorized Reseller Partners. More information on PathScale can be found at www.pathscale.com.
